A member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad was killed in Lebanon's Burj al-Barajneh Palestinian refugee camp, a security source told The Daily Star Wednesday.
The member, identified as Khaled Youssef al-Babdoub, had been killed under mysterious circumstances overnight Tuesday in the camp, which is in Beirut's southern suburbs, the source said. The source added that Lebanese security agencies have been investigating the incident.
The Daily Star also obtained an obituary in which the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and the Babdoub family mourned Babdoub’s death.
