A man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly smuggling people, including eight Syrian nationals, into Lebanon, the Internal Security Forces said in a statement.

The smuggler, identified as Syrian national M.Aa., was stopped in the western Bekaa town of Suweiri. The ISF has previously caught numerous smugglers and Syrians who entered the country unofficially in the town.
