Israeli troops launch smoke grenades

A Lebanese Army Intelligence patrol was attacked with six smoke grenades thrown by Israeli troops.

The patrol was carrying out an inspection along the U.N.-demarcated Blue Line, which divides the two countries, at the time.

The smoke bombs injured two members of the patrol and sparked a fire, a statement from the Army said. Army, U.N. peacekeeping and Civil Defense personnel rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire.
