A man with over 30 warrants out for his arrest has been apprehended for allegedly stealing motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles and smuggling them into Syria, the Internal Security Forces reported in a statement Friday. Aa.H., born in 1980, was arrested by the ISF’s Information Branch in the southern Beirut suburb of Laylaki on July 31. “During investigations, he confessed that after getting out of jail four years ago, he stole over 50 motorcycles and ATVs in several areas within the governorates of Beirut and Mount Lebanon,” the ISF statement said. The suspect had 35 warrants for his arrest for offenses related to forming a gang, theft, looting and attempted murder.
