A Lebanese shepherd was hospitalized in South Lebanon Thursday for an injury resulting from a fall while fleeing a group of Israeli soldiers attempting to arrest him. Twelve Israeli soldiers tried to arrest Ramzi Abdel-Aal in the southern Hasbaya town of Kfar Shuba. Abdel-Aal was apprehended by the soldiers, but broke free and ran, prompting the Israeli soldiers to open fire. He was not hit by any bullets, but broke his leg in a fall as he fled. He was transported to the Marjayoun hospital. The group of soldiers also attempted to arrest a second shepherd, who was not identified.
