The Internal Security Forces has arrested two Lebanese nationals in the country’s south for suspected drug dealing, a statement from the agency reported Wednesday.
The first suspect, identified as M.M., born in 1991, was arrested after the ISF received reports of a drug dealer working somewhere between Nabatieh and Tyre.
Security forces seized three cell phones from the suspect, the statement said, adding that the ISF was later notified that he had collected his supply from a Bekaa-based distributor, identified as Aa.S., born in 1983.
Aa.S. was arrested and the ISF seized the drugs found with him. The ISF said it found eight bags containing 544 grams of marijuana, 60 grams of cocaine, 60 grams of salvia as well as a cell phone.
