أفاد مراسل "النشرة" في البقاع، بـ"انتشار الجيش اللبناني في محيط الإشكال في بلدة سرعين، منعاً لتطوّره"، كاشفاً أنّ "الجيش ينفّذ مداهمات في سرعين بحثاً عن مطلقي النار". ولفت إلى ارتفاع عدد جرحى الإشكال إلى خمسة".
وكان قد أشار إلى "سقوط قتيل وأربعة جرحى بإشكال مسلح عائلي بين أفراد من "آل شومان" في بلدة سرعين قضاء بعلبك، والسبب هو خلاف قديم، وما زالت الإشتباكات مستمرّة حتّى الآن
