Lebanese Army units have been patrolling the city of Baalbek and setting up mobile checkpoints across it and within the vicinity of Ras al-Ain parks in an attempt to maintain security in the city and its environs, the NNA correspondent said.
Preparations are underway for a wide-scale security operation in the Baalbeck-Hermel province, to be launched “within hours or days,” a Lebanese Army source said.
