44 Syrians arrested after entering Lebanon: ISF

The Internal Security Forces Wednesday arrested 44 Syrian nationals in the Bekaa region, after the group allegedly entered Lebanon through illegal routes, according to an ISF statement. The group, which was said to have included 10 children under the age of 13, was apprehended in the Western Bekaa town of Suweiri, due to their alleged unofficial entry into Lebanon, the statement reported. It was not immediately clear from the statement if the group had entered the country together. The exact date of the arrest is also not clear.
