The Internal Security Forces said it arrested a man Friday after he was caught throwing firecrackers at ISF personnel at a Beirut sports stadium in January.
According to a statement by the ISF, a video had circulated on the internet showing a man throwing firecrackers at police officers during a football match at Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium on Jan. 17.
The ISF said it raided the suspect’s house in Bir al-Abed in south Beirut Friday morning and arrested him.
The statement identified the suspect as Lebanese national M.S., born in 1993.
