The Lebanese Army has carried out a "large-scale" raid of refugee camps and the homes of wanted suspects in Hermel, arresting two people, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The agency reported that both of the detainees were Syrian nationals.

When contacted by The Daily Star, an Army spokesperson said he could not comment until investigations had been completed.

The two suspects were referred to judiciary, NNA said.
