The Internal Security Forces arrested a man accused of assaulting a minor he met online, a statement from the body said Tuesday. The arrest was reportedly made on Jan. 12, and during questioning the suspect reportedly admitted to assaulting the underage girl, after grooming her online and then proposing marriage. The ISF Cybercrime and Intellectual Property Protection Office is conducting investigations into several similar cases and has urged caution. "The Internal Security Forces reminds citizens, residents and displaced persons of the importance of monitoring their children’s use of social networking sites ... and warning them not to meet people [that befriend them] through social media,” the statement said.
