On October 14, two men suspected of belonging to a car theft ring were arrested. During the investigation, one of the suspects said that another man identified as H.J. played a role in the scam. H.J. was subsequently arrested by the ISF in Hermel in Bekaa.
Thus far 22 cars have been reported stolen, 16 of which were rented by the detainees while the other six were stolen from car owners.
