On October 4, an Internal Security Forces' member working at the Embassies' Security Unit was found dead at the Ashrafieh-based Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The body was discovered at the officers' room at the ministry’s backyard in Ashrafieh with a gunshot wound to the head and a pistol in the hand; the shot is believed to have been fired from a distance of five centimeters. The officer is reportedly from the Hujeiri family.
