On September 22nd, an army unit deployed in the south of the Litani River, in implementation of a decision by the Army command to underpin the army's presence along the southern borders. This deplyment and army reinforcement come to defend the southern borders and to maintain the area's security and stability, in coordination and cooperation with UNIFIL, in compliance with Resolution #1701.
