After his arrest S.D. admitted to belonging to several terrorist groups the latest of which was Daesh.

He was specifically a member of the Daesh group "led by terrorist Abu Al-Baraa,” the statement said.

S.D. also confessed to participating in the August 2014 Arsal clashes against the Army, when militants belonging to Daesh and Jabhat Fatah al-Sham-previously known as the Nusra Front- briefly overran the town.

“He also admitted to being active in providing logistics for Daesh and facilitating the transportation of its fighters between the outskirts [of the town] and Arsal,” the statement said.
