Notorious Palestinian drug dealer Abdel Kadr was arrested by the Internal Security Forces anti-drug unit at the entrance of the south Lebanon Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh.
Kadr reportedly distributed drugs in the Bekaa Valley and in the south of the country. ISF personnel tracked Kadr’s movements between Tyre, Sidon and Zahrani before ambushing him. Shots were fired during the arrest but no injuries were reported. Three of Kadr’s clients were also arrested and drugs, money and cellphones used in the drug operations were seized.
