The Lebanese Army resumed bombarding Daesh locations in the outskirts of Ras Baalbek and al-Qaa with intermittent artillery fire.
They shelled positions of Daesh with heavy artillery and rocket launchers, in order to launch an offensive against the militants entrenched on the Syrian border.
On the 17th afternoon, the Lebanese Army stepped up its attacks on Daesh (ISIS) after intermittent bombing throughout the day.
Successful attacks on the militant's ranks have been reported.
