The army began a new deployment operation in the eastern chain in the outskirts of Arsal, introducing a number of tanks and improvising new posts on hilltops.

This comes as complementary to the army's measures that started in the liberated Arsal outskirts, after the withdrawal of ten thousand militants of Nusra Front and "Saraya Sham".
