The Lebanese Army arrested a Palestinian national in south Lebanon on drug charges, a source told The Daily Star. The joint Palestinian security force in Sidon’s Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp handed the suspect, named Mustafa Ramadan, to the Lebanese Army Intelligence at a military checkpoint near Sidon government hospital, the source said. They had previously arrested Ramadan several weeks ago for drug abuse. He was required to sign a pledge promising not to relapse. However, he was later found to have done so.
