Generator owners clash over power

A verbal confrontation over the placement of power generators escalated into an exchange of gunfire in Sidon. Tension had been building between two power generator owners over a territorial dispute, in which Lebanese national A.T. accused Palestinian national S.Sh. of setting up generators in an area under his control.

Partners and relatives of the owners also became involved. Initial reports stated that one of the owners was injured, but it was later confirmed that there were no casualties. A security source told The Daily Star there is an ongoing investigation into the incident.
