A car was stolen overnight in the north Lebanon town of Halba, alarming security agencies, a security source told The Daily Star. Unknown assailants stole a yellow Mercedes car, and security forces are conducting an investigation into the matter. "Car thefts are common, around 40 to 50 a month," the source told The Daily Star.
