An 88-year-old man in Baalbeck was killed by celebratory gunfire after shooting erupted to mark the announcement of the Lebanese Brevet exam results, despite previous warnings from lawmakers and security forces against random gunfire. The man, Hussein Jamalledine, was hit by a stray bullet and rushed to the Dar al-Hikmah Hospital. He succumbed to his wounds at the hospital.
