A Lebanese Army unit deployed in north Lebanon’s Tripoli and quelled a gunfight, local media reported.

A number of youth had got into a scuffle in Tripoli’s Qibbeh Square before gunshots were heard, Voice of Lebanon 93.3 radio station said on Twitter.

The army cordoned off the area and restored calm.
