The Lebanese Armed Forces Command announced in a statement  the arrest of Ahmad Hussein Wehbe in Baalbek for resisting the army after a search carried out by its troops at the backdrop of a conflict which broke out in one of the city's districts and during which gun shots were exchanged. 

"The army also found a Jeep Cherokee without a license plate in Tatri district before arresting the accused, Chawkat Wehbe, and seized 18 RPG shells, 14 grenades and 5 Kalashnikov, as well as ammunition and military equipment inside the vehicle," the statement said. 

"The seized items were delivered to the competent authorities," the statement added.
