Two people were killed and two others injured in a traffic dispute in north Lebanon, a source told The Daily Star.
The source said that a dispute erupted overnight between Mohammad Aa. and Moustapha H. over which car had the right of way in the town of Kfar Malki in Akkar. The dispute turned into a fistfight and an exchange of fire. Ammar A. and Aa.Aa. were critically wounded in the shooting. They succumbed to their wounds later on Thursday. The two along with M.Aa. and B. Aa. were admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Security forces arrived at the scene in an attempt to control the situation and prevent its escalation.
