Daesh (ISIS) militants abducted an arms dealer in northeast Lebanon, a security source told The Daily Star.

The Lebanese abductee, Mohammad Ahmad al-Hujairy, was snatched in Arsal, said the source.

Al-Hujairy, 35, belongs to Chady Matar’s group in Daesh, doing logistic work for the extremist organization, the source said.

The source also confirmed that al-Hujairy is a known arms dealer, and pointed out that the kidnapping might have been the result of financial disputes between al-Hujairy and Daesh.
