The Internal Security Forces announced the arrest of three Syrian minors on charges of vandalism and theft in Beirut and Mount Lebanon.

On Saturday, 17-year-old, M.R, and 16-year-olds M.N and Aa.R were stopped by police in Burj Hammoud with L.L 6,500,000 ($4,333) found in their possession.

There have been several thefts in Beirut and Mount Lebanon, the statement said. The two latest took place on the 26th and 27th of April, when “SMG Production,” in Jal al-Dib and “Pharma,” in Ashrafieh, were robbed.

Through questioning, the culprits confessed to over 10 more crimes, in addition to the two aforementioned.

The boys robbed a pharmacy and a car part store in Nahr al-Mott, an iron store in Dora and a church in Hamra, in addition to stealing from and vandalizing five schools in Jounieh, Jdeideh and Nabaa. They also robbed three churches in Sin al-Fil, Furn al-Shubbak and Nabaa, and three companies in Zalka and Burj Hammoud.

The culprits were handed over to authorities for further questioning.
