أعلنت شعبة العلاقات العامة فيقوى الأمن الداخليأن "مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي تداولت مقطع فيديو يظهر فيه شخص يقود سيارته بطريقة متهورة، وتمكن من الفرار من أمام عناصر دورية من فصيلة عرمون في وحدة الدرك الاقيلمي بعد أن تعطلت آليتهم".

وفي بيان لها، أوضحت قوى الأمن أنه "بتاريخ اليوم ونتيجة المتابعة تمكنت الفصيلة المذكورة من معرفة هوية ومكان تواجد السائق وتوقيفه في بلدة عرمون، هو: م . ج . مواليد عام 1964، لبناني الجنسية، وقد تبين أنه من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة.

ولفتت الى أنه "تم تنظيم محضرين بحقه الأول دون إجازة سوق والثاني قيادة سيارة إنقاض، وقد ترك بسند إقامه بعد توقيفه لساعات بناءً على إشارة القضاء المختص".
