BEIRUT: An armed dispute erupted between two families in a town in the northern district of Akkar late Monday, the state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported.
Members from the Bhshik and Shtiwi families clashed in the border town of Al Sheikh Ayyash with sticks and knives.
Two were injured in the fighting and nine were arrested.
