On 02 Feb 17, The Lebanese Army exchanged fire with a wanted suspect in the Bekaa Valley during an attempt to arrest him. He is wanted over several arrest warrants pertaining to shootings and arms dealing, opened fire at an army unit seeking his arrest in Kamed al-Loz in western Bekaa. No casualties have been reported and the suspect is now in custody.
