The Directorate General of General Security arrested Syrian national Kh.M. on charges of belonging to a terrorist organization.
Upon interrogation, the Syrian confessed to the charges and to recruiting people and coordinating their transport to Syria to fight alongside the terrorist organization. The Syrian national also confirmed that he was planning a suicide attack in Lebanon upon the orders of a Lebanese terrorist known as Abou Baseer or Abou Hajar Al Loubnani.
The criminal was referred to specialized authorities, as work was ongoing to apprehend his associates.
