he Internal Security Forces Directorate General - Public Relations Division - issued the following communiqué:
"At 7:00 on Wednesday 28/12/2016, in the town of Al-Ain, near Hariri Square, a grenade exploded inside a white van (...) bearing the number 374307/m, driven by Mahmoud Houry (born in 1965, Lebanese).
The blast killed Khalid Houry (born in 1967), who was standing next to the van on the driver's side, with his head and hands inside the car, according to the report of the military expert. The driver was seriously wounded and was taken to the Dar al-Hikma hospital in Baalbek for treatment.
This security incident was mapped according to the closest possible location.
