On 08 Nov 16, a former Fatah member wanted for attempting to incite sedition in the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh handed himself over to the Lebanese Army. Mohammad Abdo, who is known as Mohammad al-Bahti, is a former bodyguard for the head of the joint Palestinian force in Lebanon, Maj. Gen. Munir Maqdah. Maqdah had previously fired Abdo after obtaining voice recordings of the latter attempting to incite unrest in the camp.
