The director of an UNRWA-run school in the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh was badly beaten by a student’s parents, prompting teachers to protest and all schools in the camp to close. The League of UNRWA Employees protested the incident that left Ahmad Abbas injured. Abbas worked at the Safad School in the camp.
