Palestinians rallied for a second consecutive day in north Lebanon Tuesday to denounce a hit-and-run accident that killed a 5-year-old girl and her grandmother. The National News Agency reported that dozens of Palestinians from Syria protested outside the UNRWA office in the Beddawi refugee camp near Tripoli over the deaths of Israa Ismail and her grandmother Wadad Mustapha. The two died Sunday at the Al-Khair Hospital in Minyeh following a hit-and-run on a highway in north Lebanon. During the first day of protests, residents blocked the main road leading to the Palestinian refugee camp of Nahr al-Bared.
