بتاريخ 1/10/2016 أوقفت دورية من شعبة المعلومات في مدينة زحلة شخصين لارتكابهما أعمال سرقة بواسطة الاحتيال، وهما: ع. ع (مواليد 1975، لبناني) و س. د. (مواليد 1990، سورية).
وبالتحقيق معهما من مفرزة النبطية القضائية في وحدة الشرطة القضائية، اعترفا بارتكابهما حوالي 8 عمليات سرقة طالت محالا تجارية في قرى محافظة النبطية.
