On 22 Aug 16, at 1913hrs, Civil Society Activists gathered in Riad El Solh under the title of "Restore hope to the street" to demand their rights and to protest against government decisions, reduction of the minimum wage,the continuation of the waste crisis and against the unresolved election law , which resulted in the extension. Media reported that the movement will be settling tents.
