On 21 July 16, a few dozen protesters in Downtown demanded Cabinet form a food safety commission authorized by a law passed last year and warned of escalation if their calls are ignored adding that protests will increase week after week until the Cabinet becomes committed to their demands and meets them. A number of organizations took part in the demonstration, which resulted in heavy traffic in the heart of the capital.
