Army sappers and bomb - disposal experts have safely dismantled an explosive device set to go off at a stone quarry in the Beqaa, Army Directorate of Guidance disclosed in a military communiqué today. The 5.4 kilograms of high explosives contained nails and metallic balls designed to inflict maximum injury Yarzeh communiqué added. The explosive device has been safely transferred into an army base with the court of law concerned being notified, the military communiqué concluded.
