General Security: Palestinian arrested for fighting against Army

NNA - The General Security Directorate announced in a statement on Wednesday the arrest of a Palestinian refugee on charges of participating in the fighting against the Lebanese Army in Abra.

According to the statement, the accused confessed to having participated in battles against the Lebanese Army, carried out attacks against LAF checkpoints and had hidden weapons and ammunition with two Lebanese citizens.

The General Security subsequently searched the residences of the concerned Lebanese and confiscated weapons.
The detainees were brought before the competent authorities.
