On 25 Mar 16, dozens of people formed a human chain outside the Costa Brava landfill south of Beirut demanding it be closed. Residents from the Choueifat municipality and its surrounding areas gathered in front of the coastal area to object the government’s decision earlier this month to create a landfill there. Calling themselves the Choueifat Crisis Cell, they vowed to continue putting pressure on the government until their demand is met. http://www.dailystar.com.lb/News/Lebanon-News/2016/Mar-25/344127-protest...
