The Lebanese Army carried out raids in eastern Lebanon Thursday in search of fugitives involved in a family clash two days ago, the state’s National News Agency reported.
An unsettled dispute between the Ismail and Mazloum families in the Baalbek district village of Taybeh ignited Tuesday, prompting heavy military deployment in the area.
The army had warned citizens to stay in their homes as the clashes reached a main highway in the region, well known for its lawlessness and armed family disputes.
