وطنية - صدر عن المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي - شعبة العلاقات العامة،البلاغ التالي:

"توافرت معلومات لدى مفرزة استقصاء البقاع في وحدة الدرك الإقليمي حول قيام عصابة باحتجاز أشخاص سوريين داخل إحدى الخيم في بلدة الروضة - البقاعية، بعد أن قامت بإدخالهم خلسة من سوريا إلى لبنان.

بتاريخ 26/1/2016 قامت قوة من المفرزة المذكورة بدهم المكان وتمكنت من توقيف أفراد العصابة، وهم:
- ع. ح. (مواليد عام 1967)
- م. ح. (مواليد عام 1995)
- أ. م. (مواليد عام 1994)
- أ. ح. (مواليد عام 1996)
كما تم تحرير كل من:
- ق. م. (مواليد عام 1984)
- س. ش. (مواليد عام 1980)
- ف. ش. (مواليد عام 1999)، جميعهم من التابعية السورية.

بالتحقيق مع الموقوفين إعترفوا بقيامهم بتهريب المحتجزين الثلاثة بالإضافة إلى سوريين آخرين من سوريا إلى داخل الأراضي اللبنانية، وذلك بالإشتراك مع شخص لبناني (العمل جار لتوقيفه)، ثم عمدوا إلى ابتزازهم من خلال الإستيلاء على بطاقات هوياتهم الشخصية والإتصال بذويهم في سوريا وطلب تحويل مبالغ مالية تتراوح ما بين الثلاثماية دولار والألف وخمسماية دولار أميركي، من أجل تسوية أوضاعهم بشكل قانوني في لبنان.

كما ضبط بحوزتهم مبالغ مالية كانوا قد استحصلوا عليها من أشخاص سوريين لقاء تزويدهم بإقامات لبنانية مزيفة.

وأودع الموقوفون القضاء المختص بجرم الإتجار بالبشر، فيما أحيل المحررون الثلاثة إلى المديرية العامة للأمن العام ليصار إلى إتخاذ الاجراءات القانونية اللازمة".
