"Hold You Accountable" Campaign staged a sit-in Saturday at the entrance to the Jiye Electricity Plant, in objection to the "Energy Ministry's unfair policies towards citizens of Iqlim el-Kharroub region."
Demands focused on the need for the Plant's development in compliance with health and safety standards, in addition to demanding ample electric power supply for the region.
"Jiye Plant is another headline for corruption in the electricity dossier," said protesters, vowing that "the battle against corruption shall not end until all corrupted are held accountable."
