After thorough, intensive monitoring process of terrorist networks, a unit of the Internal Security Forces Information Branch managed to locate a depot of weapons and explosives belonging to one of al-Assir groups in the neighborhood of al-Bustan al Kabeer in Sidon, ISF Directorate General said in a communiqué on Tuesday.
The Information Branch raided said depots on 09/29/2015 and seized a large quantity of military weapons, ammunition, rocket-propelled grenades (RPG), 107 mm shells and 60mm mortar shells, communiqué added.
The Information Branch also seized inside the depots ten explosive devices prepared for carrying out assassination operations via remote detonation devices.
