State Security/North Lebanon Branch has managed to break up a cross-border human trafficking ring specialized in smuggling Syrian refugees.
Smugglers apprehended by State Security in Batroun have managed thus far to infiltrate over than 50 Syrian old women and children via Masna' on counterfeit Lebanese travel documents while passing remittances back and forth between Syria and Lebanon, the police Force concluded.
