Socialist Forum organized a sit-in in front of the Egyptian embassy in Beirut, Wednesday June 24, in solidarity with political prisoners in Egypt and to demand their immediate release. http://al-manshour.org/node/6405
Calling for the widest campaign to:
- Overturn the death sentences against political opponents in Egypt and abolish capital punishment in general.
- Release all political prisoners and prisoners of conscience from Egyptian prisons.
- Repeal the protest law and other laws restricting freedoms and the right to organize and strike.
