On 11 June 15, in Mhammara, unknown gangs stole electrical cables from the main electrical station to separate power supply before the implementation of its new operations to improve the feed and protection. The EDL company is working to restore power to the towns and villages which are electrically isolated by these thefts, at a time when the security forces began their investigations to uncover the perpetrators.
