Heavy shelling and skirmishes were witnessed throughout the night of Monday-Tuesday in the whereabouts of the Lebanese Army's base in Talet Al-Hamra of Ras Baalbek outskirts, NNA field reporter said on Tuesday morning.

In further details, the Army intercepted suspicious militant activity in said region, a thing which sparked a fire exchange between both sides, NNA reporter added.
